As you can see you don’t need much specialist kit or clothing to get started. Mostly we train in comfy gym clothes and there is not uniform requirement. On the mats we train barefoot, on the gym floor you can wear any clean shoes you like.
Every now and then we run a workshop or attend an event where a gi or kimono is required. And our kids classes tend to wear them as it really helps when teaching how to control someone else’s posture. Having said that if you like the pyjama look I am not going to stop you 🙂
